Oh man indeed. Christianity and creation in a nutshell : God did it.

Christians credit God for everything.

Really, that's all there is to it.

If someone is happy being a Christian, why not? A person will be happy if he believes in something especially if he believes he is right. Then again, a person does not have to be right to be happy. We all have different thoughts and different religions suit different needs. If you look around, you see people walking in crutches; others need a wheelchair and some just walk upright. All get to move about. That's great!

Finally, you did something useful in your life other than washing cars. Unlike izso, who stooped so low like monkey replying to my posts (you should know I'm posting crap here, if not shame on u). I drown them with my experiences..

Hey anonymous I don't know who you are but I wish you to be free from any mental suffering and be showered with joy and happiness. And please stop provoking my friends, if you want to put somebody down, ask somebody to eat shit, you can tell that to me.
Please don't bother my friends and I hope you can stop disturbing us here, sincerely...

Hello ppl...sorry i didn't reply for so long...jz finished my finals. Wow this anonymous is very bitter towards izso...

Kenneth,
Obviously your brother has his reasons why he became a Christian, why not ask him why is he a Christian? and i still think you should have your little "experiment" with God. I believe that if you are earnest and you really want to know Him, He will make Himself known to you. That's one of the promises He gave to us. and the best thing is you don't have to be super Holy or anything. all He looks at is your heart. Well just a thought...since you considered doing this before..

Yap,
at the seminar the speaker also said atheists who want to know if there is a god or not will not find god because they them self don't believe in him in the first place.
this is the same as what you pointed out to me earlier and I think I'm in that position.

If I don't believe in him, how can I discover him?

I think the first step is to accept Jesus as my saviour first right?, and then maybe one day I will feel the connection with God.

but if I accept Jesus, I will have to let go Buddha?
I think I will find myself hard to do that, Buddha has had a huge impact on me.
well, see how it goes then.

Kenneth,
First of all, really really sorry bout the ultra late reply. My reason? I'm down with tonsillitis and i was bedridden since. Well you see, it’s all about your heart, not about the religion you’re in. Of course my God hates sins, but not the sinner. If you were to seek Him sincerely He will surely show Himself to you. But is this the heart of the matter? That you want to know Him more? Or you just want some “experience” that you can go on telling your grandchildren about…LOL..forgive the bluntness but as I said, it’s what you’re in it for. God sees your heart, your thoughts, your everything.

You don’t believe in him doesn’t mean you don’t want to know Him. You just..don't know Him yet. It’s that longing inside of you that will draw Him close to you. It is a humble step, to accept that there is someone greater than you and i. That we take the step of humbling ourselves, lowering down our much protected “ego” to seek this God.

You DON’T NEED to be a Christian to discover Him. If you read about apostle Paul, (I’ll try to keep this short) you’d know better. He was a jew ( jews don’t believe Jesus is the Son of God). He HATED Christians. No one can hate Christians more than he did at his time. He went around catching Christians shutting them into prisons because to jews it was wrong to him that God should be a man born in some kampung place. But God met him in a special way on the road to Damascus. (read Acts 9: 1-19)

My pastor also told me how this man who was so bounded in idol worshiping went to the extent of meeting Lucifer (Satan) to gain more “power”. But alas the devil wanted his life so he ran to God, and he was able to find Him. So if a guy who has met satan, a super idol worshiper, or a super high pangkat theological person who goes around capturing and persecuting Christians can meet God, how much more can you, Kenneth Tang Chee Fei?

Well kenneth, you can't sit in the middle of the fence. Unfortunately Buddhism and Christianity have their own differences. How can you believe that you will be reincarnated but on the other hand believe in heaven and hell? So it's clearly impossible. Unless you plan on starting a hybrid cult thing lol...

(sorry for the blogging but i had to make things clear, dun wana leave u hanging)

ahh see, when we die, well according to Buddhism lah... our good/bad karma will determine in which realm we will be rebirth in. The six realms in descending order are Gods, DemiGods, Human Beings, Animals, Hungry Ghosts and Hells.
And neither one of them is permanent. *I know this all will sound like nonsense to you, hehe bear with me* If one person's karma was really really really bad and after he dies he goes into hell and experiences suffering for a period of time(how long I don't know) after that he will be rebirth into another realm again. So this constant cycle of rebirth is a form of suffering and to end it and to be in nirvana, one has to be enlightened...
That's basically it lor, and Buddha is in Nirvana, he won't rebirth anymore.

Thanks for your reply again, hope your tonsillitis thingy is fine now
